Pet Care Team


Dr. Clayton Simon Graduated from UC Davis in 1992 and moved to Laguna Niguel with his wife Mary where he has practiced veterinary medicine ever since. Their family has grown to include three beautiful children.  Their current family dog, "Ellie" a Black Standard Poodle, joined them in 2007.  Dr. Simon considers it a great privilege when people allow him to care for their special furry buddies. He enjoys telling anyone who will listen about the special creations we call pets.


Dr. Asha Kiran Mruthyunjaya is a Southern California native, raised in the Orange County area. Dr. Asha completed a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and then went on to finish a Master's degree at the University of Memphis in molecular genetics. Dr. Asha spent 2 years researching canine hip dysplasia.


Dr. Asha completed a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2003 from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario Canada. She is enjoying life in the Saddleback Valley with her pets "Murphy and Steiner" and labrador retriever "Pal".


Dr. Tina Stephens received her doctorate from University of Missouri- Columbia in 1994. She has practiced in a variety of types of veterinary positions including: horses, small animal, exotic, and zoo. Dr. Stephens has worked in wildlife programs as well. She is a member of the AVMA, CVMA and SCVMA professional organizations.

An Orange County native, Dr. Stephens enjoys gardening, art and reading. She currently is a fiddle/violin student for Irish country and bluegrass music. Dr. Stephens has a large ‘pet family’… "Bridey" the beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback, 2 cats "Captain Ahab" and "Elizabeth," "Benny Goodman" the cockatiel and "Bitey" the lovebird.
